Captain Bruce Bowler
Captain Bruce Bowler began his career as a Reserve Police Officer in 1976. He has been certified in Montana and Idaho as a Law enforcement Officer. He spent 6 years as a Patrol Officer, 3 years Undercover Narcotics Investigator, 9 years School Resource Officer / Detective, 4 years as Detective Supervisor, and 2 years as Patrol Supervisor. For the last 6 years Captain Bowler has been responsible for the Madison County 911 Center, and Communications/ Computer Information Technologies for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. He also serves as the Commander of Marine Patrol and Search & Rescue, and assists with Home Land Security for Madison County. Captain Bowler also serves as a subcommittee representative on the Idaho Emergency Communications Commission, and State of Idaho Interoperable Communications Committee.
![]() Lieutenant Cameron Stanford Lt. Cameron Stanford started for the Madison County Sheriff's Office in 2001 as the Sugar City Resident Deputy, working previously for Rexburg Police / Ricks College Division for 5 years. He was appointed Patrol Lieutenant in 2008, and spends much of his day writing grants for the county, which provide a great part of the funding necessary to equip the deputies with the tools they need to perform. He also oversees Madison's Homeland Security Program, and is a certified D.A.R.E. instructor. |
![]() Lieutenant Lyle Rasmussen Lt. Lyle Rasmussen started his career in law enforcement as a Detention Reserve Deputy in 1998 in the Madison County Jail. He became a full-time Detention Deputy in 1999, and moved to patrol in 2001. He spent several years progressing his career, being appointed Patrol Lieutenant in 2008. Lt. Rasmussen oversees the Drug & Alcohol Interdiction Team, and is a member of SRT (SWAT). |
