The Detective Division of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for conducting criminal investigations within Madison County as well as assignment to the Tri-County Sheriff’s Investigations, Upper Valley Major Crimes Task Force and the Upper Valley Drug Task Force.
The detective division has five full time detectives, responsible for the investigation of all felony crimes, as well as assisting patrol deputies with many misdemeanor investigations.
The detectives work closely using a team approach with all surrounding law enforcement jurisdictions as well as state and federal entities, Health and Welfare, and the Family Crisis Center.
Madison County Detectives have over 75 years of combined experience as well as over 8,700 P.O.S.T. certified training hours.
