Get geared up for this year's Search & Rescue benefit Demolition Derby!!

Proceeds will go to purchase equipment and help pay for searches and training for the Madison Co. Sheriff's Dept. Search & Rescue. There is sure to be Metal Smashin’, Mud Flyin’ & Heart's Poundin’ quality fun family entertainment.

The Derby will be held Saturday, July 12 at 6pm at the Madison Co. Fairgrounds. It will be a great time with some good family fun. This year we are excited year to have Q102 FM Radio DJ Tommie Girl and Rexburg Motorsports teaming up with us to offer some great entertainment in addition to the smashing metal of the cars.

The local car dealerships have each committed to have a derby car and there will be a heat just for them to determine which type of car is really the best! You gotta see this!!! The Sheriff will have his own police derby car and so will Tommi Girl, a D.J. at Q102!!.

A Motorcycle Scramble organized by Rexburg Motorsports will include barrel racing on 80cc bikes if you have the best mullet (sign ups are at Rexburg Motorsports, 356-4000) and some other fun events like the traditional money run, where anyone in attendance can come into the arena and chase in the mud after some quick cash.

It's not too late to get your car entered into the derby! Voila!! With a little work you too can own a highly prized piece of scrap metal. What an opportunity!
